I remember the first time I met Stan, I walked into his office to discuss a project and we got talking about previous work experience at GM. Then we started talking about our families, how proud he was of his son Justin. I will always remember him as a good person and a talented engineer. My deepest condolences to the family.

I worked with Stan for many years at Navistar and was extremely saddened by his passing. Like so many others, I remember Stan for his warmth, his grace and most of all, his exceptionally kind nature. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this most difficult time.

Dear Sue and Justin,

It is hard to find words to describe the sadness we feel.

Our thoughts are with you.

I was saddened by the news of Stan's passing. I have worked with Stan for many years on many new products and advanced technologies with Navistar. I believe we had a very special relationship and had great respect for each other. I will always remember Stan for the effort he made in nominating me for the annual Navistar Chairman's Award. He did not need to take the time to do this but that was the kind of person he was.

My prayers have been with you (his family and friends) and will continue. Stan and I only talked periodically, and I'm certain, that like you, it's difficult to think of him as no longer being with us. May the Lord comfort and console you, as is promised in Matthew 5:4. If it helps, I'm certain you will see how well regarded he was here at Navistar, with many friends here in Fort Wayne, as well as many who have moved up to Chicago. He will be missed here, but we will rejoice together in the Lord's kingdom.

Sue and Justin; We have been good friends for many years. Many good memories. I was there when you and Stan got married. My heart goes out to you. And my prayers are with you. It doesn't look like we will be able to get to the funeral but know I am thinking of you in the loss of Stan. May God comfort you in this time of grieving.
