On behalf of your past and present MU sisters of Delta Kappa Gamma, I express our deep appreciation for your vision and leadership as a charter member. You personified professionalism and dedication of women educators. You were a role model and mentor to new and experienced teachers alike and an inspiration to everyone who had the privilege to know you. May you rest in peace.

We shall always cherish your friendship and the memories it brought us. In your courageous fight, you were ever the teacher, showing us all how to be brave, how to be faithful and how to love. Your enthusiasm for life, your love for others and your gentleness are all lessons you left for us to learn. We will miss you dearly. - Brad, Mary-Margaret, Sarah and Katie
