Sandy and Dave, I was so shocked and saddened when I read the e-mail about your mom. I just can't believe she is gone because the last time I visited with her she was so energetic and full of life. Of course that was about 2 years ago but that image will always stay with me. She was so dear to me and I really thought of her as my second mother. She always made sure we "girls" were taken

Sandy and Mike ... My thoughts are with you at this time of your Mom's passing. I knew you guys way back in the old St. John's School days .... over the last number of years I would run into your Mom at a grocery store or a Walgreens and we would swap family news. She always had a smile and a hug for me. My heart goes out to the both of you and your families

Thanks for making your son such an honorable man. He has a gentle strength that came from you. I am blessed to have him as a parent, even though he came into my life several years after my birth. We will always remember Helen's spunkiness and upbeat personality when we spent time with her at family parties. She filled the room with joy! She also has the natural ability to rock any baby to sleep! We loved her and will miss her.

I met Helene several years ago through her neighbor, Arlene Bortz, and the first day that I met her she opened up her arms and gave me a big hug and kiss and said how glad she was to meet me, And every tine that I visited Arlene, Helene would always make sure that we had something for desert and as always she was there with her beautiful smile and a big hug and a kiss. I will always treasure the memory of knowing such a beautiful woman.

I have known Helen from St. John Lutheran Church. I worked with her many times at church activities. Definetly one of the hardest working people that I have ever met! She will continue to work as one of the Boier Girls up in heaven!! She will be missed very much by all. I am so sorry for your loss.

Dear Grandma Helene,

We all miss you so much! But we know that you are in a better place with Grandpa. We all loved the way you cooked for us, the way your face lights up when you laugh! But the most thing that i Remembered about you was the way you thought of others before you thought of yourself, no matter how much you were sick or how much you were in pain. The last words I heard you
