My thoughts of sympathy are with all of the Wellnitz family. I had the pleasure of meeting Tom when I worked at Jumbo's about 24 years ago. I haven't seen him in as many years, but I always thought he was one of the kindest, funniest men I knew. May God's peace be with you as you grieve your loss.

Marianne, Kayla, Eddy and family: So many memories of you two, Marianne. When you first began dating, got engaged and married. Tom was always smiling and some of the best jokes I ever tried to forget, were told to me by Tom at Jumbo's. Hugs to you all! With God's love and prayers, Tina, Erin, and Beth

My sincere condolences to Tom's family. I enjoyed serving on the Janesville city council with Tom. Even when we disagreed on an issue, we always respected one another and always left the meetings as friends.

To the family of Tom, It is never easy lossing a loved one. Tony and I are so sorry for your tremendous loss. Tom built two houses for us. Each one better than the other. He turned what was an enormous amount of stress into something that was so much fun and ultimately beautiful. He left an amazing legacy for each of you. I know he will be missed by family, friends and the whole community. Our prayers and thoughts will continue to be with you.
