Memories & Candles
I just found out about Mike's passing, and I am quite sad. Mike for a period of time was my boss at AT&T, he was also a mentor, and a friend. He was some one you could talk to and confide in, and his demeanor had a calming effect on everyone he came in contact with. He was a major influence in my career and I will miss him. My sympathies and prayers are with his family.

I only learned of Mike's passing recently. We worked together for AT&T in New York for many years. Mike was always a source of inspiration. Your problems became his problems. Your burdens became his burdens. Throughout any challenge Mike maintained a positive attitude. To paraphrase the song, he always made you understand that the sun would come up tomorrow.i ran into Mike at the New York Times Travel Show in New York in 2011. We hadn't seen each other in

To the McShane family; I just heard of Mike's passing and am deeply saddened. My hearts go out to you. Mike was the face behind The Colonial Williamsburg booth at the NY Times Travel Show. I worked with him on securing booth space. He always had a warm smile for anyone that stopped by his booth and took the time with each person to promote Colonial Williamsburg. He will be missed dearly

Mike,
You will be missed by many, in a way that can not be explained with words.
Your caring, kind and compasionate nature was expressed with every hello and handshake.
Your love for your family and those close to you was easily seen in your eyes with every smile.
I pray for peace in the hearts and minds of those whose lives you have touched and helped.

Mike - you will be sorely missed by anyone who was furtunate to have met and/or worked with you. Always a smile and friendly greeting for everyone! A true gentleman, real "people person," and Colonial Williamsburg is a better place to have had you as an ambassador. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Mike you will be truly missed! Pick a city, pick a tradeshow, there we were with our booths. I will miss the conversations and the friend I always knew would be there! May God bless you and your family!
