We may never know when it is our turn to leave this life, but I am certain that Charlie left too soon. I wish I would have had more time to talk with him and share my testimony.

I pray that Charlie found peace with Jesus, and that his immediate family will find comfort knowing that God forgives, and there are no tears (and no pain) in Heaven. May he rest peacefully and be re-united with us on Resurrection Day.

What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget.
