Rosie, please know of my sympathy to you and your family on Gene's death. I heard it 3-17 at 5 pm Mass in Medford. We are in the same boat, as John died 1-4-12 from Stage 4 Bladder Cancer which lasted only 4 mos. But it does leave a huge hole in one's life.

When I was 19 my family lived next to you in the yellow house on 13th Street. I enjoyed your family so much and Gene especially. I was engaged and would watch for the mail to come and I remember Gene teasing me about it. He was so much fun and brought a smile to your face. We were saddened to hear of Gene's death. He had many years of 'trials' and knew the Presence of God, 'up close and personal'. God be with you in your grief, Rosie. Prayers for all of you.
