Uncle Gary,
There are so many ways to describe you and so many memories to tell about. You were so very loved by not only each and every member of the family but also every person you came in contact with. You never failed to have the best sense of humor and could easily brighten anyone's day. You will never be forgotten.

Oh how you will be so missed Uncle Gary. There are so many wonderful words that describe the type of person you are and just as many memories to keep me smiling and laughing. I hope you know how very special you are to me and that you will be in my heart and mind always until I see you again. You are a true representation of strength and courage and have inspired me in so many ways. I love you and miss you so much.

Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear.

It is with deep sadness that we express our condolences to Maureen, Aunt Hertha and the family. Gary will never be more than a thought away.
Our thought and prayers are with you all.

I always felt Gary Shippy to be a man of strong moral character. As a classmate, I appreciated how Gary always spoke to me and went out of his way to be personable and kind. I want to extend my sincere condolances to Maureen and the entire family.

Gary, Maureen, Eric and Tyler - you have been like family to me since I can remember. I will forever cherish the fond memories of get togethers and trips to Hilton Head Island. I feel truly blessed to have known Gary. His energy and passion for life were incredible; he had a smile and laugh that could light up any room! My heart is sad but I know that we will see Gary again someday. Please know that I am sending many prayers for peace and comfort - wishing I could hug you all!

Lots of Love from Texas,
Kelley

Gary Shippy was a man who was always an encourager. He would bring joy and showcase love to those that were around him. Gary was always uplifting and had strong character that he imparted to his sons. For all of things he gave to others there was no greater thing that he gave than that of his love and devotion to his family. My love and prayers and the love and prayers of my family are with you Maureen, Eric, Stephanie, Tyler, Addison, and Aubrey and thank you for sharing with us a great man.
