Mrs.Brown was a wonderful client. I know that if she were here, she would like to eat a little of my cornbread stuffing. My family sends deep sympathy to Mrs. Birt and all of the remaining loved ones. Love Cheryl, Lex, and Jr.

What a shining example of grace and dignity you were to everyone around you. I truly loved time spent talking with and listening to you, even enduring the sharp reminders of my infrequent visits. You will be missed. I love you.

I met Mrs. Brown only recently when I became chaplain at Grimes. She was a very thoughtful person who was very concerned about her family. It was obvious she loved you all very deeply. May you find comfort in each memory you have of her.
