From helping me discover Icee Frreze and Little League baseball in 1975 to affirming my family heritage in 2000, Aunt Joan, you filled in a lot of the details that make life the sweet, aromatic garden that it is. I love you and I will miss you.

I used to love to come to the Mount household as a teenager. Everyone was accepted and welcome. If one of the many humans did not greet you before you crossed the threshold, the St. Bernard did! Joan was often in the kitchen preparing something and always seemed to have time to befriend the latest guest. She was quite a lady and will be missed.
