I remember that Fred loved talking about his Swiss heritage and was so happy when he was able to establish a company in Switzerland. His Swiss heritage spoke volumes about his character and work ethic. Whenever he was in Switzerland on business, he would take the opportunity to re-connect with his family roots. He enjoyed visiting his grandfather’s farm and other reminders of the Swiss Bürki ancestry.

Fred Burke was a fine man and I very much enjoyed working for him and travelling with him.
He always treated me as a good friend. I feel deeply grateful for what he did for me and for what he taught me. It was a pleasure knowing him.
My deepest sympathy to all of his family.
