Delores, My prayers and heatfelt sympathy are with you and your family. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Charlie was one of the best men that I ever met during my career with the railroad. He never failed to make me laugh, but he was also one of the hardest working guys I ever met too. I know he is up in Heaven, probably driving a Studebaker. I always considered him a friend.

I love you, Uncle Lee. I know you're in Heaven waiting to greet me when my time comes. Such a glorious reunion it will be. Tell Mom, Aunt Marie, Aunt Loraine, Uncle Sammy, Grandma and Grandpa hello for me.

Peggy, losing a parent leaves such a hole that no one else can fill. May you remember the good times. And you have many. I will always remember Lee watching you do flips and cartwheels in the big backyard, a little grin on his face. He loved you all so much. May God watch over you. Pat Massey Poynter
