I am just now finding out about Dawn's passing. I met her when TEA African American Employees Association sponsored her family for a year and was able to bless the Children with tons of Xmas gifts. She was always so encouraging and upbeat!! You never would believe she was ill. Such a Godly woman, full of faith! I will definitely be in prayer for this husband/father and the children.

Dawn fought the fight. A strong solider! Loving mother, wife, teacher, aunt, daughter, & friend. I was truly blessed to have a friend like you. I know you are looking down on us & you are rejoicing in heaven. Until we meet again- Your Booe :-))

My sympathy goes out to the Williams and Ross family. Especially, Imani whom I had the opportunity to be her first grade teacher. Dawn's birthday song will be a fond memory for many Norman children. I feel truly blessed to have known her. Dawn Smith

Our prayers and thoughts are with the Williams and Ross families near and far. Based on knowing her sister, Linda, I'm sure Dawn was more than twice the woman described in the word count of an obituary. I regret not knowing her personally, but am thankful for the life of such a beautiful soror. May she rest in peace and her life continue through the gifts she passed to her children, family and friends.

To The Williams and Ross Family: Although no words can really help to ease the loss you bear, just know that you are very close in every thought and prayer. She fought the good fight and now she can rest. May God continue to wrap you in His arms and comfort you during this difficult time.

I looked at your picture and remebered that the glamour shot pic I have, you made happen. I keep trying to remember the words to the birthday song you would sing. You helped make my first year in education easier and for that I am thankful. God bless the Ross family.
