Jason, Hayley, Brian and Tyler,

You have my most sincerest condolences at this time of your sorrowful loss. Words cannot express the shock in my heart after hearing of this sad news. In the short time I knew Cara, she made it known that "Family" was the most important thing in her life. Most of our conversations turned into family discussions of how much she loved her little family and how she would do anything to protect each of you from

Cara had a great smile and was a joy to be around. Thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Praying for all of your family - I haven't seen or talked to Cara in years, but I can see from the pictures and comments that she still had the same effect on people that she did many years ago when we were college roommates - always smiling, always upbeat, always fun to be around. I know she will be greatly missed, but I'm sure that even heaven is much brighter with her presence.

Words cannot begin to express how sad we are over the loss of Cara. Every time we saw her, she was smiling with arms wide open for a hug! We will take comfort in knowing she is now a guardian angel watching over her loved ones as well as her Harley family! Rest in Peace Dear Cara, you are so missed!!!

Cara -- You will be sorely missed by all of us who know you. Jason -- I know you are heartbroken and I am so sorry for your loss. Haley and Brian -- Your mom loved you both sooo much. She wanted the best for each of you. May you find peace knowing that the Lord welcomed her with open arms. She will always be with you through your love and memories and I know she will be watching over you.

To the Stafford and Walters families: I wish to send my condolences to you at this very heartbreaking time in your lives. I had only met Cara a couple of times and unfortunately did not know her family well, but I know how hard it is to lose someone you love and try to put your lives back together again. No parent expects to lose their children before they themselves leave this earth. May the Lord sustain you in this time and you carry the memories of the happy times with you forever. Love, Virlene

I was not given the obvious privilege of getting to know Cara but, as I said, obviously she was a wonderful lady who improved everyone who did get the honor. As a fellow rider I and the staff of Thunder Roads Magazine Texas wish to convey our deepest sympathies to her husband , children and grandchild, extended family and all her brothers and sisters in the Dallas H.O.G. Chapter as well as her friends.

Cara was one of those kind, gentle, caring people that you really don't meet much these days. She had a great sense of humor in so much as she laughed at ALL my jokes - even the really bad ones!
I'll miss that great smile! I'll miss that great laugh! and I'll miss hanging out with Cara!
I'm honored to have known Cara, and look forward to hanging out again!
Love,
B
