Dear Baker family, I was the West De Pere track coach for 11 years.(1980-1990) I remember first meeting Dan and I couldn't believe he had just given one of my athletes some advise-good advise at that! In those years of coaching, we did get to know each other as coaches and I appreciated his humor and positive attitude. He made a big impact on my life. I know I am a better person today because of Dan. He was truely

I graduated De Pere High in 1987. I was in Mr. Baker's business class. He was always so positive and I wanted to do my best in his class and I did. He believed in me and I knew it. You will be missed and thank you. God bless you and your family.

Baker family, My deepest condolences to you and your family at this hard time. You are in my prayers each and every day that you gain the strength to continue on. Jill and family; Very sorry to hear of the passing of Dan. My wife and I were shocked to see this on the local TV news. Dan was a great guy. I remember him well from HS. He was always so upbeat and cheerful, never a bad word. Although we never stayed in contact much since HS, I enjoyed visiting with him at the class reunions. We will miss seeing him at this summer's event. Please accept our sympathies. Mark & LuAnn Finco

Dearest Jill and family of Dan, Michelina and I are very sorry for the loss of Dan from your lives. I did not know Dan well, but he was always very nice to me and seemed to have a positive and happy energy about him, a welcoming man at heart. We can't ever replace the people we love, but we can remember their kindness and their way and take them with us. Love is the greatest shaping instrument in the

Coach Baker was a wonderful, caring, and encouraging man. The first time I spoke with him was at a track meet to see my grandson Austin run. Right away I could see why my grandson thought so much of Coach Baker. He was nothing but personable and very encouraging about how well he was doing, how far he had come and how sure he would have a bright future. Coach Baker was very positive in everything he said and did.
