Mr Baker was my Cross Country coach back in '94 and '95. I was never a top runner but that didn't matter to coach Baker. He taught me that what mattered was that I gave everything I had and had a positive attitude. Through cross country he taught his athletes life lessons that we are passing on to our children. I am one of the many who are forever grateful for the opportunity to have been impacted by such an amazing man. My thoughts and prayers are with Mr Baker's family and friends.

I did not have Mr Baker as a coach, but I did have him as a teacher a long time ago. He was my favorite teacher because he was always happy and it was inpossible to fail in his class. He was always in good spirits and everyone adored him. My condolences to his family especially Kevin, Lauren, Lilly, and Macy. He will be missed.

Dear Kevin -- your dad was awesome. I loved that he made Marketing 101 fun; I loved that he led DECA; and I loved that I ran into him and Mr. Boyd on a Badger game day in Madison two years after HS graduation when I was clearly intoxicated and clearly underage (and they were clearly fine with it). I loved that he encouraged me to try pole-vaulting for the two weeks I attempted track my junior year, even though

Words cannot describe the positive impact Mr. Baker had on many, many lives. I for one would have never ran cross country if it wasn't for him, and I would have chosen softball over track. As the saying goes "Everything happens for a reason" I now know that I'm so blessed to have had 4 wonderful years with the best coach and teacher I've ever had. I would not be the person I am today without him. I will miss

My most sincere condolences go out to Mr. Baker's family. Although I was not in any of his classes he always treated me and everyone else with respect when saying hi in the hallway. One of the best role models that I am sad to see laid to rest.
