I am so sorry to hear of Dr. Mellow's passing. My sincere condolences to all of his loved ones. It was an honor to meet and work with Dr. Mellow. He made my day a little brighter and more enlightened each time we met. He spoke highly and often of the wonderful, caring people in his life, the arts and humor, good food, spiritualism, and of course gardening. I cannot forget him.

My sincere sympathy to Barry's surviving family. He was a wonderful man and doctor. I worked with him for several years at Kent, and will never forget his kindness toward all. He was a pleasure to know. So sorry I did not hear of his passing in time to attend his services.

Mellowites! We r so saddened by your father's, and Jeanie's deaths. Together we4 came up w/the cheer "Yeaaaa God!" 1night after an incredible eating/drinking fest w/your dad as cook. We met when I worked @ Newport Hosp the year they married. We were very close2them for the few years we lived in Newport. Life happened; we moved2Pittsburgh,Europe, ultimately Alabama. Some of our fondest memories were of all 4 of us eating and laughing through the wee hours of many nights.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Dr Mello was truly a character. I worked with him at Kent 20 years ago. I also had bought a few sweat shirts he designed with Ninja Turtles...what talent he had. He leaves a special memory for me. My prayers of God's comfort for the Mellow Family
