My mother, Gen Nelson Berglund has told us lots of stories about growing up and visiting Oliver and his sister, Doris, in Austin. She talks about picking cotton in her dad's fields only when Oliver and Doris would visit from town and want to do 'country things." Mom's family would come visit Emma, Oliver's mom ,and Annie, Oliver's aunt on Saturday afternoons at their house on 14th street. They would walk Congress Avenue and window shop. Oliver and Doris kept in close contact with my mom growing up and Mom even went to Oliver's dental practice. The Holmberg/Strom/Anderson family cousins are leaving this earth but they leave behind great memories of a wonderful time growing up. Oliver will be missed.

I have fond memories of Dr. Strom and his office, especially the terrarium-like courtyard and smell of his office. Even now I enter dentist's offices and expecting that familiar smell.

May Dr. Strom rest in peace.
