Mr. Otis Wolf Cain

Funeral services for Otis Wolf Cain,78, of the Nances Creek community will be Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home with the Rev. Braden Morrison and the Rev. Garry Brown officiating. Burial with military graveside rites will follow at Nances Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Cain passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Jacksonville Medical Center. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Ann Cain; one son, Steve Cain (Christy) ; three daughters, Tina Bonner (Kenneth) , Melody Faulkner (Phillip) and Ginger Coleman (Scott); eight grandchildren, Heather Christopher (Jeremy), Brandon Bonner, Dustin Bonner, William Bonner (Brooke), Daniel Faulkner, Jenny Minton (Justin), Joy Cain and Jordan Coleman; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Bill Cain (Carol); three sisters, Juanita Roach (Alvin Jack), Alma Jean Donaldson (Clyde), Peggy Smith (Norman) and several nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be Brandon Bonner, Dustin Bonner, William Bonner, Daniel Faulkner, Justin Minton and Jeremy Christopher. Honorary pallbeaers will be the Nances Creek Baptist Church Men's Sunday School Class. Mr. Cain was a lifelong resident of the Nances Creek community where he was a member of Nances Creek Baptist Church. He was a U.S.Army veteran, served in the Alabama Army National Guard and was loved by all. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Matt Faulkner; his parents, Oz and Blanche Cain; sisters, Wanda and Barbara; and by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lois and Alma Salmon.
