Memories & Candles
I would like to express my deepest sympathy to Mayor Kwasman's family. Mayor Kwasman had a strong vision for West Chicago and genuinely was interested in people my age becoming more involved in the city. I appreciated that he noticed the challenges and benefits of community involvement while raising kids. He will be so missed.

It was our honor and privilege to know and love this wonderfully caring man as our friend and neighbor. Our hearts are breaking for Crystal and the town of West Chicago. While he was with us he shined so brightly.....so we will now look to the heavens and find the vrightest star and think of him shining down. Thank you for touching our lives so specially. With much love to you, Crystal.

I am sincerely sorry for the loss of our wonderful mayor, Mike Kwasman. He was a quiet and successful mayor as well as a sincere and helpful guy. We were so happy to have his kind remarks to us after the 9/11 program; they will never be forgotten. Thank you for everything, Mike! Ron Benner

It was a great pleasure and privilege to work with Mike on behalf of our municipalities. There is a bond fellow Mayors share as no one else can quite understand this crazy life we lead. Mike loved West Chicago and was an excellent advocate for its citizens. He was a great public servant and I will miss him tremendously. Condolences to Crystal and the rest of his family.

We had the pleasure of getting to know Mayor Kwasman through our son, Representative Randy Ramey. We are truly sad to know that our friendship was so short. He was a fine Mayor and good friend to many people and will be truly missed. God Bless him and his family.

We are very sorry with this great loss of Mike, especially to his wife Crystal & family as well as the city staff & all of the residents of West Chicago. This is a huge loss to everyone. Our company did many things over the years for the city & Mike personally. He was also very helpful to me with homeowner assoc. issues dating back when he was my alderman & even as our dedicated Mayor these last several years !! He will be sorely missed !
