I just learned of Miss Alice's passing today, on what would have been her 93rd birthday. I am so sorry! She and my grandmother Ruth were friends for years, and I have eaten many many pieces of her cakes over the years. God bless all of her friends and family, and may her soul rest in peace!!

I JUST HEARD TODAY OF ALICE'S PASSING. SHE WAS A FINE EXAMPLE OF A PERSON WHO LIVES LIFE TO THE FULLEST. I DO NOT EVER REMEMBER SEEING HER WITHOUT HER BEAUTIFUL SMILE AND LAUGHTER. SHE HAD A WONDERFUL SENSE OF HUMOR, I WAS TRULY BLESSED TO HAVE KNOWN HER AND I WILL MISS HER. MY PRAYERS GO OUT TO HER FAMILY AS I KNOW THAT THERE WILL BE A VOID IN THEIR LIVES THAT NO ONE ELSE CAN FILL. SHE WAS ONE OF A KIND.

Alice Mae--With you we have shared many sad times and many more happy times. Thanks to your pleasant positive outlook on life, your generous and giving attitude towards your fellow humans you will always be in our hearts. Your ability to enjoy the "little" things in life make us so blessed to have you as our great friend.

I only knew Alice a few years, but her independence and joy in life has inspired me as I watched her give so much of herrself in and around St. Paul's. She is already missed, but she will remain in our hearts always. "Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted." Matthew 5:4

Alice, you have been my friend since I was 6 years old. Now 42 years later you have been such a dear friend through all the best and worst of my life. I will always remember spending time with you and loving your ability to find joy in the little things and everyday life. Love you! Miss you!

Thoughts and prayers are with the family. I only knew Alice by way of our church, but I held deep admiration for her. She was quite a lady.
