Memories & Candles
Our thoughts and prayers go out to those Uncle Martin left behind. May he rest in peace. Pat Mahoney & Anne Cassidy

Grandpa Marty was a kind and thoughtful man. I always looked forward to his letters; which often consisted of his opinion on how things should be. He had strong feelings about many things and never felt the need to hold back. :) His letters made me laugh and it was always nice to know that no matter how far away we were, or how infrequently we were able to see each other, Ava and I were always in his thoughts.

Will miss Uncle Martin, he didn't pull any punches, told things like he saw them.
May God hold him in the palm of his hand.

So sorry for your loss,Uncle Martin will never be forgotten. He was an unique individual. I was so glad he made it out for the family reunion we had around 10 years ago in Colorado we appreciated the effort it took for him to get there. May he rest in peace, knowing he isn't suffering any more is a relief I'm sure. Bless you for taking such good care of him and letting him live with you guys. I'm sure it wasn't easy. I'm proud to be related to such caring individuals...

I recall one 4th of July at Bunkier Hill.
Uncle Martin brought out the largest sack of fireworks that I have ever seen.
He had us popping firecrackers and setting off fireworks for hours that night.
That was the best 4th of July ever.

While here he could not walk, now he has wings.
While his words became hard to understand, he now speaks clearly to our hearts!
While his eyes failed him, he has made it possible for us to see how great and caring a man he really was!
He has peacefully moved onward into the next chapter of his life after death and will be waiting to greet us all one day soon.
I love you, Dad.

I'll always remember the fun football, basketball, and baseball games with our neighbors our cousins; Kaps, Quints, and Mills. And milking all those cows and hours on the tractor.WONDERFUL MEMORIES. Your older brother by 13months. Bill Mahoney

We are so glad to have spent time with you these past couple of years. Fox news might go off the air now without your faithful viewing. My boys loved you very much and thought of you as their "Grandpa Marty". Thank you for filing that role for them! You will be missed. We will make sure that Biskit is well taken care of. May you finally be at peace.
All our love!
