Memories & Candles
It is so hard to accept the death of someone - especially one we love so much and have know all their life. The reason is "even time indefinate he has put in their heart." Eccl. 3: 11. What a wonderful hope we have; to have our loved one back from death into a beautiful new world. Our love and sympathy goes out to other family members and Jamey's friends that feel the sorrow as we do.

The Bible assures us: “Jehovah is near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.” (Psalm 34:18) Yes, more than anything else, a relationship with God can help all of us cope with the death of Jamey.
It is not that prayer simply makes us feel better. The “Hearer of prayer” promises to give holy spirit to those who sincerely ask for it. (Psalm 65:2; Luke 11:13) And God’s holy

I met Jamey 17 years ago. He was putting in a computer system for the Bumper to Bumper store where I worked. He was a kind, thoughtful, and humorous person. After I left that job I didn't see Jamey for years~~ until just a couple of weeks ago. He was back in Des Arc to work at the Bumper to Bumper store and he came in to have lunch where I worked. I sat down and talked with him briefly

The Roark Family, I was so very sorry to hear of Jamey's passing. He was one of the nicest guys and always funny and a pleasure to be around. I came to know Jamey while playing softball for Faith Baptist Church, when he coached out women's team. He was a great coach and always had a way of encouraging and motivating us. I have always loved the game, but really enjoyed playing for him. It has been many years since

My sincere condolences goes out to the family. Although I did not work directly with Jamey he was always very cordial and professional with me throughout the many years that I have known him. He would always greet me when we ran across one another at Bumper to Bumper from time to time. He was well thought of and will be missed by many of us. May all of the good times and fond memories that we have all shared with Jamey help give you comfort during this difficult time.

oh man this is a tough one. How can you describe our friendship of over twenty years in such a small space. Wow the memories with Jamey are priceless. We always hoped Jim and Jamey could retire at same time so they and Keith could do the daily golf and then during college football season get an RV and rotate Texas and Arkansas football games. For Jamey's family you can tell how much he was loved and cherished in his life.

I met Jamey in May of 2003 when the company I worked for had been bought out by Parts Warehouse. He came to Lafayette and spent two weeks here teaching us how to work the new computer system. He was a very thoughtful man. He made a what could have been a stressful time seem very easy and had the office full of laughter. I will always remember his smile. Please know that my prayers are with you and your family at this time of loss.

Jamey was my friend, and my life is better for knowing him. We met in 1985 when we opened our store. Although we didn't see one another often, it was easy to catch up when our paths crossed. He was a kind man and a true blessing from God.
For the void left by Jamey's passing, I pray God's comfort and peace.

Jamey became my favorite of my cousin Jerry's boys when we spent a week end with them at a Grady reunion in Granite, Okla. I had a son Jamie who was 5 years younger than Jamey and he was so tolerant of this little cousin who followed him all weekend. When I saw him again at Jerry and Johnny's 50th wedding anniversary, he said he remembered me from that weekend. So sorry to have lost such a sweet man! My condolences to all his loved ones!

Computor Issues he would personally drive out to
my store which was several miles from the Warehouse.
He never complained and always did all he could to
correct any problems I had. Jamey was Very knowledgable
on any type of PC Problem's that I had and did the work
with the humor that only Jamey had. We will truley miss

Jamey and I worked together starting in October of 2002. He made the job fun. Such a glorious gift he had of making everyone laugh and feel good. I know that with every phone call, he made me feel special and appreciated. He was patient and with his technical knowledge could help me isolate and resolve problems quickly.
Our friendship grew stronger each year. One year when he visited Austin, he came out of his way to introduce himself in person.
