To Gloria's family, I knew your mother from her stay at Marshall Nursing, where my mom was a resident as well. During our visits, I could not believe how cheerful and friendly she was to all of us. She was a special lady, and I extend deep sympathy for your loss. Mothers are irreplaceable. Terri

To Mick and Brenda and Gloria's family: I drafted some words before getting on this website, but dismissed them after seeing a picture of your mom. What a lovely smile! I never met your mom but that smile is one of love and caring. My prayers are with you to keep that image alive in your own lives. Love deeply and enjoy each day! My prayers are also with your mother that she may find peace and comfort. Best, Jane Venohr (Colorado)

Hi Mick -- Sorry to hear about your mom's death. I know losing a mom is a transition we all go through but it is something you can never really prepare for. Celebrate her life even as you experience her death.
