Memories & Candles
Dear Ivey Family, My name is Sharon and my husband has been on Maple Grove since Oct, 2010. Your mom was always my next favorite resident to visit. We had so many chats about birds, flowers and her baking. She was always so pleasant and would visit with Jack to see his stuffed Boston Terrier. I will miss her alot...she understood so much of what I was going through with Jack's disease...she was a sweetheart. Much love, Sharon Hungerford Battle Creek, MI

The Ivey Family, I was sadden to hear of your loss. I had the pleasure of visiting with Gloria a short time ago when our preschool sang at Calhoun County Medical. She was comforting to me since I too had just lost my Mother. I remember she and Bud had a Siamese cat Charlie that I think my mom gave them. Oh...I will miss talking to her...God Bless..Doreen (Combs) Crespo

Dear Mick, We were sorry to hear of your mom's passing. Our prayers are with you and your whole family right now. Thankfully, she's in a wonderful place, but I'm sure that doesn't make it any easier at this moment. God's peace be with all of you during this difficult time. Love, Karen, Kurt, Adam & Sarah

Hi Mick, So sorry to hear about your Mom. Even if they are "no longer in pain," we still miss them tremendously. Hopefully you have some good memories to hang on to. No matter how old we get, it's hard to lose a parent. Looking forward to seeing you this weekend. Safe travels!

Hi, Mick, I enjoyed reading about your mom's life, and can imagine how much you miss her. I loved that she worked at a soda shop and at an A&W; and, I was thrilled that she loved baseball. Bet she had some delightful stories to share from her youth. I noticed that your parents were married the same year as mine, and I can tell you I miss them every day. Hang on to the good memories; they are very comforting. My thoughts are with you, your brothers, and all of the family members. Warm regards, Bev

Ron, My heart goes out to you and your siblings. My parents are about the same age as your Mother, and we have talked about how lucky we are to have had our parents with us for so many years. I know you have many great memories to share. Your friend. Kevin

The Ivey's, I am so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of visiting with your mom a couple of months ago. Dad(Ray Cameron)was admitted to Calhoun Cty and I saw that Doug had signed in to see Gloria. I found out where her room was and went right up to see her. Once I told her who I was, she couldn't believe it. We talked for a good while and then I went and told Dad who I
