Sister Majella was one of those special teahers you never forget. I graduated from Mercy Academy in 1964. Sister taught me biology. Our class was quite interesting because of the way she taught us I will never forget. She was always there for us whether it be during school or after. I have never forgotten her all these years. Just a very special person. May god bless her always.

Sister Majella was a wonderful Latin teacher. All those "Latin root words" have alway helped my vocabulary.

I enjoyed the Biology class you taught at Mercy. You were short of stature, but big of heart!

I will always remember working at the convent with Sr. Majella and Sr. Austin during my high school days at Holy Name of Jesus. In one instance, when Sister Austin would give me lunch at noontime, Sr. Majella would tease me by saying: "Austin, if you keep feeding her, she will be like a little kitty cat, and keep coming back." She had a wonderful sense of humor. I learned a lot from Sister, and feel privileged to have visited her before her death.

Prayerfully,

I feel certain Sr. Majella is smiling on the correspondences of her Mercy Students Class of '73 discussion about their fond memories of her.

What memories we could share about how tough Sr. Majella was in Algebra and Trigonometry. She was tough, but fair, and we shall all miss her.
