Sister Rogers was special to all who met her because she had a beauty all her own. Her lovely smile made you feel special, and she always had one for you. She had a grace and peace that made you feel welcome and close to her Lord Jesus.

I remember when I was in Marshall and John and Barbara were at Harrison, on many occasions there was a Rogers family get together and I was invited. She always made me feel at home and like one of the family. Then in later years, I always looked forward to seeing her at the Powers reunion on Labor Day. I love you "Mom Rogers' and will miss you

Mrs Rogers
You will be missed greatly. You have a special place in our hearts. I will never forget the time we helped move you from Harrison to be closer to Barbara and John. You rode with me (Helen), and that was a special time for me. We love you very much.

Mema, you were the only grandparent I ever knew. The Lord bless me with you being my grandmother. I will never forget the countless times that Daddy had to seperate us in church because we would get tickled over something silly. He would glare at us for a first warning, then when the giggling ensued, he would seperate us and sit between us like a couple of scolded kids. It's the little memories like that that will make me smile
