Bert was a very special man. He would stop by the house for a visit and he would always ask about our boys. I loved listening to his stories about the Military, Coon Hunting and just life in general. He always made me laugh and he had a smile that could melt your heart! Keep the memories alive and repeat all those stories from Bert to your kids and thier kids.
Rest in piece my friend.

Hi John and family, My dad Edwin Moore always enjoyed talking and working with your dad. I have fun memories of the Southern Iowa fair. Seems so long ago but my memories of laughter and cattle and friends still bring a smile. Glad to hear your dad still loved those angus cattle even though I still love those shorthorns. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Bert was a great fan of baseball and a very good person. I believe for as long as Eddyville had a 4th of July baseball tournament, Bert was always there. What a grand guy! My condolences to the family.

Dear John, Zack and Jared,
I was saddened to hear of the loss of your father/grandfather. I did not have the pleasure of knowing Bert, but from what I have heard, he was a great fellow and I felt the care that you have for him. I wish you all the best at this time and in the future.
Sincerely,
Holmes
