I grew up with Arlis when I was about 15 yrs.old, she was so funny and I loved her outlook on life. I hadn't been in touch with her for a long while, and started tracking her down. Arlis was the mother of my best friend Cal. I can honestly say she had a profound impact on my adolescent life. Visiting the Roach residence always felt like being at home. Then, just like that, I lost touch with Arlis for the past 12-13 years. And I regret that. My thoughts and prayers go out to Cal and his family.

On behalf of the Residents and Co-workers of Alden Estates of Jefferson , I extend our deepest sympathy to the family and friends. Arlis cared for so many elders with dignity and compassion over her 15 years.

Arlis was the mother of my best childhood friend, Cal, and we remain fast friends now and will forever. Arlis always welcomed all of Cal's friends with open arms and good hospitality. She opened her home to us, fed us, transported us, joked with us, and loved us. Arlis' accepting nature was appreciated by all who knew her. Rest in peace, and my thoughts and my family's go with Arlis' family.

I remember Arlis as a very soft spoken, very nice , very caring woman. She was always respectful to our family and very good to my nephews, Tim Wienecke and Justin Lowman .
