I knew Dean through my best friend Phyliss, his loving wife of more than 20 years. They were newlyweds & so obviously in love when I met them. How does the old song go-" Love Is Lovlier The Second Time Around." She stood by his side & together through blood, sweat & tears they finished raising Bradley. Dean was good to her lovely daughters Carmen & Melissa & good for them as well. They had since married & blessed him

I was Dean's wife for over 20 years. I am deeply saddened by his death. We remained in close contact, sharing books, phone calls, texts, and stories about our children and grandchildren. We spoke last on my birthday and he was gone just 6 days later. I'm so grateful for the many wonderful times that we shared, and for the unconditional love and support that he showed my children. We will miss him, but will never forget him. Phyliss German Bounds

Deeply sorry to hear about Dean's passing. He was a great brother-in-law...and it's unfortunate that we lived so far apart. Simply seeing each other once a year at Thanksgiving was never enough. Our family is very saddened by Dean's passing.

Entering the door of my first church Christmas party as a young married person, looking exactly like I didn't want to be there, I was greated by Dean; made to feel welcome, taken to the kitchen where I learned Northridge Christmas parties were a lot of fun! My admiration and friendship with Dean grew over the years. Dean served as Elder at my son Jordan's baptism as well my daughter Macy's baptism. Kind, strong, humble, steadfast, Christian describes our friend Dean Bounds.
