John and Vivian were good friends of my parents, Bob and Betsy Roche, first meeting in the mid 40's. John and Vivian (and then Ann) visited Canada many times, joining us at our family cottage in Muskoka. I have so many memories of their visits but the best one is of a visit they made during Canadian Thanksgiving. The weather was particularly cold and our primary form of heat was a large stone fireplace. John was in his element chopping

I was deeply saddened to learn of John's death and I would like to express my sincere sympathy to the Family. I will be for ever thankful to John who gave us the opportunity to become a Hufcor licensee years ago. I admire his dedication to Hufcor and its worldwide Partners. John now has a well deserved recognition as a true legend in our industry. What a great life-time achievement that will inspire and motivate us for many years. It’s with great sense of loss that we, at GIBCA, heard the news of John Hough’s demise. May God Bless his soul! I am very saddened by passing of John whom I paid utmost respect not only for all business fields but also for personal aspects. He has been a teacher for me for more than 25 years. I sincerely wish his peaceful eternal sleep and joing to Ann in the heaven.

I had the pleasure of knowing John for a period of almost 30 years,and know that this world will miss one great person. He was an inspiration and friend to many people. May he rest in peace.
