Charles Garner

Aww, I've just now leaned of the passing of Charles Garner, and have felt so sad. I think everyone in Beebe knew the Garners and felt their love for others through their capacity to serve. I never heard them complain one time, but always welcomed you with a smile. It's hard to speak of one without the other, for they were a team. His infectious smile revealed the inner man who wanted to please. Our community has truly been blessed and will miss him.
I pray that the family will have a covering of peace during your grief.

I MET CHARLIE AND MARY IN THE EARLY 80'S. THEY WERE CIVIL WAR RELIC HUNTERS AND I WAS NEW TO THE HOBBY. I KNEW NOTHING ABOUT THE HOBBY.THEY WERE SO KIND AND PATIENT WITH ME. I LOST TOUCH WITH THEM WHEN THEY MOVED TO BEEBE. WHEN I READ THE NEWSPAPER ARTICLES ABOUT THEM AND WHAT THEY HAD DONE FOR THEIR CHURCH AND COMMUNITY I WAS NOT SUPRISED.THAT'S HOW THEY WERE. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THEM. FRED STALEY

Grandpa Garner will be deeply missed. His infectious (and often mischievous) smile was a delight to all who knew him. I now know that he is holding the hand of his beloved "Mrs.. Garner" as he would often call he. My prayers to the family in this time of their heart break.

Beebe will not be the same without the Garners. They were such lovely, giving people. Their joy was in serving others. I am so proud to have known them in my lifetime.

We enjoyed many years next door to Charlie and Mary. They helped us with gardening tips, and we put "garner gook" on many of our trees and bushes. We already miss them so much, things will never be the same in our neighborhood. God Bless all of you is our prayer !!!!!!!!!! Windell and Ruby
