Dorothea was a bright, cheerful, optimistic friend, first to my mother and by extension to me. Her heart included us all and her experiences and wisdom was shared graciously. My condolences to the family.

To Dorothea's Family,
Someone so special will never be forgotten, and we will remember the wonderful times we had with her.
I will miss all the hugs and long phone calls from her.
As Table Tennis Players and "Germans" we had a lot to talk about in both languages.
She was a wonderful friend, a fantastic Ping Pong Player and a great role-model.
But most of all, she loved our Lord and Savior with all her heart. I am sure He welcomed her with open arms.
Our heartfelt Sympathy,
Christa and Doug Moore

You and your family are in our prayers. It sounds like your Omi was one heck of a lady. Heaven has another perfect angel in their midst today.

Kristina and family,

You have my deepest sympathy in the loss of your Grandmother. She touched many people and you can rest assured that she is at peace now. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dorothea was one of THE most positive people I have ever known. She always had the biggest smile accompanied by a huge hug which made me feel like I was the most important thing going on at that moment. She was a brilliant sunbeam whose light affected every single person she encountered and will be greatly missed.

It is no small thing to loose a Mother as we both have experienced this great loss. We pray the many happy memories you have of your Mom will bring you comfort and peace.

Your Mom was a fun lady and we enjoyed her company, even though we had known her only a short time. We are members of Bob Donahue's empty nester gruup.

You were a special friend to both of us. Dorothea and Judy had a close friendship because of table tennis. We took many wonderful trips to play in the Senior Games. We had long conversations because we rode 45 minutes to Farmers Branch and Richardson for practice. There are so many memories we will cherish because of you. You will be missed forever.

I met Dorothea at table tennis in Farmers Branch. She was still a very good player these last few years. When I saw her I always got a big hug, she was a good person and she will be missed by all who knew her.
