What a wonderful man, and so lucky for the times we spent together. Although you say he is now with the Angels, he had his own Angel right here on Earth, "YOU" Love you, Rhonda & Gil

Roger was the "class" of all the Cooper managers I have worked with over the years, few if any had his integrity and leadership skills. His courage and positive attitude towards the end of his struggle will be something I will always look back on as the defining atribute of a real champion.

To Roger's family, Roger has touched people in Canada as well, I first me Roger when we were with Allied at the Managers Meetings and then when I joined the Jack Cooper Family, Roger was one of the first people to call and welcome me. He was always the picture of passion and class. My condolences to the Owen family and Roger, you will be truly missed

It's not often that I think about any of my bosses and cry when I hear of their death.. Roger was a trully honest and good man.. shortly after his first surgery I stopped him at the Wentzville terminal to tell him how sorry I was to hear he was ill.. I told him,, "you are a good man"... we both started crying and we hugged.. since then I have retired and am sad to hear of this good mans

Vicki: Candi and I are very sorry for your loss. Roger was a good man and probably one of the most honest people I have ever known. I worked with Roger at Auto Convoy prior to it becoming Allied. We both made the transition to Jack Cooper after some difficult times at Allied. I remember when Roger was the terminal manager at Tulsa. Dan Roy, who is now also deceased used to call the Tulsa terminal when he knew Roger

It was with great pleassure that I had the opportunity to have worked with Roger for over 10 years at the Wentzville terminal. Football season would be so entertaining around here when people would come in and give him a hard time about his "Sooners". They argue back and forth and I can tell you first hand that nobody ever came close to winning those arguments. He was an inspiration, boss and friend. Many drivers have come in to tell
