I was living with Steph at the time her and Peter first started dating. I think I might have even been with them on one or two of their first dates. Right away Peter and I bonded. We were like brothers from another mother. I told Steph that he was "the one" after probably only their second date, but She said They were taking things slow and wanted to spend more time getting to know each other. I knew he

I have a lifetime of memories with Peter. We met in college, probably the first week, and formed a friendship that has lasted a lifetime. Maybe it was that we were kindred spirits, or just shared many interests. No matter, we sure had a great journey through life. I am proud to call him my friend, one of my best friends. So Peter, "Happy trails, until we meet again!" My Love, Alfred

My friendship with Peter reaches back to his sophomore year, my junior year, of college. You might say our friendship got off to a rocky start when Peter "borrowed"...I called it...STOLE... my bicycle. As it turns out, Peter's roommate, Alfred, became my husband, and so we had many years of stories and adventures together with Peter...lots of laughter and a few tears. Peter holds a special place in our family, with one of our son's carrying the middle name Peter, and the other son holding Peter as his godfather. Peter will be missed. Carol

As I read these comments I would like to add that yes, Peter did have that sparkle to his eyes, but he would have said it was just the lenses they put in when he had his caratact surgery! Not so. He did have that wonderful quality, albeit mischievious. My heart goes out to my sister Stephanie...Peter was her soul mate. And I am priviledged to have had known him.

Peter was truly a gentle soul, yet with that sweet sparkle of mischievousness that always kept you wondering what he might be contemplating. I remember well when Stephanie told me she’d found her prince and described this lovely man she planned to marry. Their time together was too short, but filled with joy and vitality. Stephanie, my heart aches for you; may your memories and Peter’s abiding spirit console you.
