Sheri was my best friend when we were little kids in Warren, PA. I now have a six year old daughter, and I was just wishing this week that she could find the kind of best friend I had in Sheri. Although it's been 40 years since the days when I used to play with Sheri, I still gave a warm place in my heart for her and cherish the special memories of our childhood. We had a lot of

Dear Lisa, Tommy, and Sheri's family,

Though it has been many years since I have seen or talked with Sheri, and decades longer since we trooped up and down Frank St., I am deeply saddened to hear the news of your loss. I have only the fondest memories of Sheri, her smile, her laughter, and her kindness from the days in Hooktown, Mulberry playground, Home Street School, campfires, and Coal Bed Road.

Thinking of you with love,

Laura Chlopecki

I cant believe its been almost two weeks. Ms. Sheri was like another mother to a whole group of us kids, no matter where you came from or what you looked like you were one of her many babies. She accepted us as we were and she set rules like you were to! I believe at some point all of us lived with her, Mickey and Linds. I have so many great laughs and memories at that house with them

Sorry to hear about Sheri, she was a great person and a lot of fun.

I worked with Sheri for a short time at the Free Press. Sheri was one of those people that you never forget, and every time you think of them you smile.

She was sunshine on two legs. Always a friend, always a cheerful word, always a laugh. This world's loss is Heaven's gain.

Lisa, Tom, Lindsey and Ramona and rest of family. I had the chance to be a friend of Sheri's at work and away from work. She was one of the happiest girls I have ever met. I can remember so many times when she came into work she was almost running running always in a hurry and so full of energy. She always wanted to tell me what my dream the night before meant....sometimes she would say do you really
