Mr. Killam was always a fixture at FUMC, one of the many points of steadfast comfort and fortitude found there. Our fondest memory involves a mission trip to Nuevo Progreso, Mexico, to continue construction on a church about 10 years ago. Mr. Killam wasn't able to work fast, but was an example of "slow and steady wins the race." His race has now been run, and he will continue to be an example of how to proceed with kindness, justice, and and fairness.

I am very saddened to hear the news about Wilton. I have many, many fond memories of working with Wilton on Kiwanis Club projects at the zoo. Wilton always had stories to tell and was a joy to work with. The zoo recieved a great benefit from those Kiwanis Projects and Wilton played a big role in all of them. Everyone at the zoo who worked with Wilton has expressed their sincerest sympathies and condolences. Wilton will be missed.

Wilton was a wonderful friend. Enjoyed working with him in the church choir and on the Texas Forestry Museum board. Sorry that we cannot be here, but will be in Louisiana for my Mother's funderal. Love and prayers for the family.
