Please know that I am thinking and praying for all of you during this difficult time. I also grew up in the neighborhood and your Dad was a wonderful man. I remember the many times that he would fix a big dinner on Sunday, invite me to join your family, and then take us on a plane ride over the great Mississippi. roy was the greatest pilot ever and and convinced me that i could make a living doing it so he taught me how to stay alive when things got bad.. that made my 31 year career of flying very easy..

Didn't we have a great neighborhood to play, grow, thrive and learn, thanks to all of our parents. I remember sleeping in a camper in your backyard once, the 1st time I ever camped out. It was fun. Dear Roy Tom, Bo, Mary, Tim, Angela, Martha, Mark, and Joe, It’s not possible for us to attend Roy’s funeral tomorrow, but I was very glad to be able to phone up on Sunday with Bo, Tim, and Joe from over here in Germany.
