Darcy has known Joe for something like 25 years, and it was my priviledge to first meet him through her about 9 years ago. He had a GREAT sense of humor, and was always a wecome addition to any bar or party. Joe seemed to maintain that sense of humor even through some very hard times... and he had a friendly way that made you feel comfortable around him even if you'd just met him. We'll raise a toast to you, Joe, and we'll always remember the good times we had with you. We'll miss you!

Joe was one of those guys that didn't know a stranger. He treated people like he had known them for a while. He was one of the good ones and will be deeply missed.

I worked with Joe at Dicks Sporting Goods for 5 years and kept in touch time to time when I left for North Carolina. Played alot of rounds with Joe around Indianapolis and Franklin and he loved golf. I will miss Joe as he is now in heaven playing golf.

Your friend,

Joe had to be one of the nicest guys that I have ever known and it was such an honor just to be in his company. We shared many conversations together and you just knew that he was someone really special. Just seeing him would bring a smile to everyone's face, and the love that he had for his family just made him all that more special. I had the utmost respect for Joe and I will deeply miss him. God Bless his family.

You were such a good friend. You made some bleak days on the job a lot better with your wit and humor. Although we were deep rivals when it came to our basketball teams, we made it fun. DId you ever buy me that last cup of coffee you owed me? I'm glad to have been a small part of your life as you have struggled the past couple of years. May God Bless.
