"grandma" Rundgren, Earl's mother, was the closest living person I had for a grandmother due to my mother's friendship first with Mabel and later, Vivian, both Earl's sister. I heard many stories about the Rundgrens through the years. Mother lived to age 94 and died in 2003. I have fond memories from my childhood and the Ru Daren stories.

Dear Rundgren family,
One year ago I began to search for my roots, my ancesters, back in time. I found roots more than 300 years back in time but then I got stuck in time, so to say. By summertime I decided to find now living relatives and I found roots in US! Unfortunately I was too late to get in contact with Earl, cousin of my grandfather.
I wish I had started my researches earlier and that there would have

I remember Earl in the Starbuck High School. My brother and I played on the Starbuck High footbal team with Earl in 1933 and 1934. Earl was a very likeable fellow. We moved away from Starbuck in `1935 and I had no contact with him for the past. 80 years. I am 96now, the same age as Earl. Manley Kjonaas in Indianapolis, IN.

Linda & the Rundgren family - I was so sorry to read about Earl's passing. First knew your dad as a kid, being my dad's insurance agent, then as Linda's dad. But you couldn't grow up in Starbuck and not know him, or who he was. A very kind, gentle spirit he seemed, always involved in community events, and so instrumental in promoting the city of Starbuck. He will be greatly missed, and is a loss for the entire Starbuck community. My thoughts and prayers to your family.

Dear Rundgren Family, So sorry to hear of Earl's passing. Earl was like a second dad for me growing up in Starbuck. I spent my first twelve years my living next door to the Rundgren's Going over to see Danny on almost daily I got to know Earl. I have many found memories of Earl. Earl was very proud of his family and his family was very proud of him. I recall that State Farm Sign on the front lawn

Lola and family,
I was privileged to know Earl when we both served on the LCM board in Morris. His warmth and gentle spirit are a treasured memory--peace be with you and your family.

Thanks Jay and Mary. Funeral yesterday was beautiful. The men's chorus which Dad was in for many years sang Amazing Grace, the honor guard was present and gave a beautiful salute at the cemetery and nearly 200 people showed up for the visitation and funeral. Mom is doing pretty good.
