Walt was wise beyond his years and very patient when asked for knowledge. He will be missed.

Walt was a well respected man by his counterparts at NAVAIR. I had some
opportunity to work with him and was impressed by his depth of knowledge and
engineering ability. He will be missed and continue to be highly regarded in the
NAVAIR community.

I first met Walt 21 years ago in Fort Worth whilst working for the UKCAA. Since then I always knew I could call him if I needed an opinion or some general drive train advice. It was a pleasure working with Walt and I always had a good feeling about the safety of Bell transmission designs as I knew they were benefiting from Walt's dedication, integrity and long experience in the field.

Walt will be truely missed on both sides of the Atlantic.

I am surprised and saddened at Walt's passing. Thinking of all those years that we worked together at Bell Helicopter bring back fond memories. Gone but not forgotten. I will miss you buddy.

He was a role model. He was a mentor. He was a friend. I will be forever in debt to him for the nine short years since he gave me the opportunity to work at Bell under his wing.

Walt was a superior engineer, a wonderful man and a great friend. No one knew more about drive system at Bell than him. And no one was more patient in teaching others about it than him. His voice on the other end of the line was a calming factor for Kelly as a young new hire engineer in flight test. To the last day, he was Jim's go to guy for everything drive system. I hope he knew how much

We've known and worked with Walt for many years. His wit and humor was a pleasure to be around and his abilities highly respected. He will be sorely missed for both his guidance and genuine personality.

Walt was my go-to guy at Bell Helicopter for drive system issues that might arise during accident investigations. He always made time to talk and would share his vast knowledge at will. I have been in awe of his incredible engineering knowledge, but I also have enjoyed his humor and warm personality. I am really glad that I was able to get to know him. I will miss him. He was a kind and gentle man. Blessings to the family.

I enjoyed working with Walt during my time at Bell Helicopter. Walt was a very intelligent engineer and a recognized expert in his discipline. He had a singular wit that help break the tension but was quick to share his vast knowledge and expertise. Walt, you will be missed. God Bless and Rest in Peace.
