Working with highly capable persons like Walt is one of the most rewarding experience that an engineer can have.
He will be sorely missed by all the people in Italy that had the opportunity to met him over the past years.
Bye Walt.

He was also a mentor, and a leader for the younger engineers who sought his guidance. We in the helicopter industry around the world will miss Walt, his wealth

I worked with Walt from the time he hired in at Bell until I retired in March 2010. I always considered him one of the smartest and best Engineers I knew. He had a great sense of humor and an easy-going style that made him a joy to work with. His passing will definitely leave a void at Bell Helicopter at he will be missed by his many friends.
