Thornhill Valley Chapel

The professionals at Thornhill Valley Chapel are committed to serving the families of the Spokane Valley and surrounding areas with the utmost respect, compassion and care. We offer many options that help families share the stories of their loved one and celebrate their life, including traditional funeral services or more contemporary celebration services.

We believe in providing services that are tailored to celebrate each life that has been lived. Families are encouraged to decorate our chapel with any personal items that would help portray the life of their loved one. For example, some families have brought in such things as photographs, golf clubs, paintings, stuffed animals, quilts, hunting trophies and motorized scooters. We believe so strongly in the importance of personalization that we often remark, “If it will fit through the doors, it should be displayed!”

Additions of contemporary audio-visual equipment to our chapel enable us to create meaningful and lasting video tributes to a family’s loved one. This presentation can be displayed during the visitation and service and then provided to the family for continued sharing in the months and years to come.

Following the service, families are encouraged to gather in our reception area for a time of fellowship and refreshments. Many people find this a great opportunity to reconnect with family and friends they have not seen for some time, while others enjoy sharing stories of remembrance.

We are proud to be a member of the Dignity Memorial® network of more than 1,600 funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers. When you choose a Dignity Memorial provider, you not only receive the compassionate care you expect from a locally-operated establishment, but also the value you deserve from the largest and most trusted network of funeral, cremation and memorialization services.
