CATAWBA FUNERAL HOME The Catawba funeral home was established in the late 1980s with your comfort in mind. The funeral home features a softly lit, elegant decor and includes two arrangement rooms, each with plenty of space for family members to meet. One of the arrangement rooms is also used as a showroom and displays numerous alternatives for cremation, burial, and personalization of funeral services, as well as urn and casket selections. The funeral home also boasts a large visitation room that leads outdoors to a peaceful courtyard, decorated with colorful flower gardens, benches and birdbaths, and enclosed by a beautifully designed brick facade. The funeral home chapel accommodates all denominations and comfortably seats 250 guests. If families so choose, the funeral home can also create a presentation of favorite photos of their loved one set to music and placed on a DVD. The visitation room and hallway of the funeral home contain television screens for family and friends to view the DVD during visitation services. CATAWBA MEMORIAL PARK Catabwa Memorial Park was founded in Hickory, North Carolina, in 1948. Catawba Memorial Park resides on 140 acres of picturesque land, 60 of which are currently developed. Catawba Memorial Park offers a variety of burial options such as private estate mausoleums, community mausoleums, traditional ground burial, lawn crypts and cremation niches. Other options for cremation are available, including Forever on the Green, a beautiful, serene burial area designed to resemble a golf green. The park has two mausoleums: the Chapel of Memories Mausoleum and the Garden Mausoleum. If you are a veteran, you can elect burial in the Garden of Honor, a ground burial area adorned with a military flag display and reserved exclusively for veterans and their families.
