Kenneth Lee Baughman, 63, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and physician, passed away Monday, November 16th. His life reflected a selfless devotion to his family, colleagues, and patients. He was Director of the Advanced Heart Disease Program at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston and served for many years as the Director of Cardiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. He was born in Kansas City, Missouri and graduated from North Kansas City High School and the University of Missouri. He attended the University of Missouri School of Medicine, completed his internship and residencies at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and his fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. A passionate triathlete and runner, he modeled the lifestyle he advocated to his patients. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Cheryl, sons Matthew and Christopher, daughters-in-law Michelle and Holly, and four grandchildren Margaret, Audrey, Samuel, and Gillian.
