Jennifer Renee Gallegos, 21, was born into eternal life in Phoenix, AZ on Monday, November 16, 2009, following a sudden illness. She was born on December 5, 1987 in Albuquerque, NM to Alfred J. Gallegos and Kathy Martinez Gallegos. Jennifer was a lifelong Grants resident and a member of St. Teresa de Avila Catholic Church. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends that she left behind. Jennifer is survived by her parents, Alfred and Kathy Gallegos of Grants, her brother, Alfred Gallegos, Jr. of Grants; her sister, Alisha Gallegos and fiancé Ricardo Sanchez of Gallup, NM; her maternal grandmother, Maxine Martinez of Grants, NM; her paternal grandmother, Martha Gallegos of Grants, NM; the love of her life Steven Sanchez of Grants, NM and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfather's, Art Martinez and Alfredo A. Gallegos. Jennifer was employed as the part-time manager of a local family owned business and a full-time angel to all those whose lives she touched. Her beautiful smile and personality touched everyone's heart. Jennifer was the light of our lives that will continue to shine through all of our wonderful memories that we have of her. A Holy Rosary will be recited on Saturday, November 21, at 9:30a.m. at St. Teresa de Avila Catholic Church in Grants and a Memorial Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. Pallbearers will include Joseph Jaramillo, J.D. Coats, Jeffery Coats, Chase Taylor, Karl Chavez, Adrian Tafoya and Jared Tafoya. Honorary pallbearers will include Joshua Gallegos, William Borthagaray, Ricardo Sanchez, Jr., and Joseph Jaramillo, Jr. In lieu of flowers the Gallegos family requests donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House of your choice in loving memory of Jennifer Renee Gallegos. Hansen Mortuary in Phoenix, AZ and French Mortuary in Albuquerque, NM are in charge of arrangements.
