Mr. Culvain Preston McIntyre

Culvain Preston McIntyre, age 85, born July 5, 1926, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Providence Hospital. Mr. McIntyre was a native of Clarke County, Al and a resident of the Pleasant Grove Community. He was a welder with ADDSCO. Mr. McIntyre was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, was a Mason with Coffeeville Masonic Lodge and Frankville Lodge-W.N. Reynolds#900, was a Charter member of the Clarke County Sheriff’s Department Posse. He served in the US Navy during WWII.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 23, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Lathan Funeral Home, Jackson, AL. The Funeral will be Sunday, July 24, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church (Winn Community), Jackson, AL. Mr. McIntyre will lie in state one hour prior to the Service. Interment will be in Griffin Family Cemetery.
