Richard Michael Faulkner, 61 of Narrows passed away Monday, August, 8th, 2011 at the McGuire VA Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia.

He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 31st, 1949 and was the son of the late Richard Henry and Frances Virginia Stiens Faulkner. In addition to his mother and father, he was preceded in death by a brother, David Faulkner; and three sisters, Eileen, Ella and Linda Faulkner.

Left to cherish his memory are his fiancée, Kimberley Davis Martin and son Kevin A. Martin of Narrows; a daughter, Christina Lynn Day of Cincinnati; grandchildren; four brothers, Eddie Faulkner, Michael Faulkner, Tommy Faulkner and Sammy McCurry; three sisters, Bonnie Watson, Brenda Faulkner and Susan McCurry, all of Cincinnati; and a special nephew, Joey Watson and wife Mary of Cincinnati.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 12th, 2011 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Riffe’s Funeral Service in Narrows. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Riffe’s Funeral Service Thursday from 6 to 8 PM.
