Behnen, AlbertJ. fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Friday, Feb. 3, 2012 at age 76. Beloved husband for 53 years of Patricia A. "Trish" Behnen (nee Loos). Beloved father and father-in-law of Jim (Mary), Ken (Marsha) and Dennis Behnen, Linda (Larry) Gasich, Sue (Jon) Koch and the late Randy Behnen. Dear grandfather of Amber (JD) and Mitchell (Summer) Behnen, Tony (Tamara) Gasich, Julie, Steve, Brian and Sarah Behnen, Alexander Butler and Alexandra Weingand. Dear great-grandfather of Ellie and Kelsie Waggoner, Autumn and Miranda Behnen, Jamara Wallace and Aubrey Gasich. Dear brother-in-law, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend. Al was very proud of his long time membership in Teamsters Local #682. The family wishes to thank the VA Hospice for all the love, kindness and dignity they gave to Al during his care.
Services: Visitation Monday 3 – 9 pm at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS (South County, 314 894 8444), 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. (63129). Funeral Tuesday at 9:00 am from the funeral home to Mary, Mother of the Church for Mass at 9:30 am. Interment J. B. National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society are appreciated.
