Kirk W. Brown entered eternal rest at his mother's home on February 19, 2012 after a long illness. Kirk was born September 16, 1962 to Dolores P. Brown and the late Edward Brown in Savannah, GA. He was raised in New Haven, CT by his mother and step father James Allen. Mr. Brown was a graduate of Richard C. Lee High School class of 1981. Kirk later moved to Meriden, CT where he worked with handicapped children. He later returned to New Haven where he worked as a chef at Quinnipiac College for 18 years until his illness. Mr. Brown was an accomplish artist and writer. He is survived by siblings Terrell, Judith, Dencil, Stacy, Christopher and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Beulah Palmer.
